Howe Sound Hangdog Hefeweizen

Howe Sound Hangdog Hefeweizen

This brewery is located about an hour south of Whistler BC. They are perhaps the most recognizable brand because they use one litre re-closable pot-stoppers. This makes the bottles sought after by homebrewers like me. It is nice that the beer inside is usually good. Their nut brown ale won a silver medal at the Canadian Brewing awards in 2009.

Beer Advocate A-

Taste +2

The nose has the standard lemon zest and yeast. Sadly the taste is a little weak and watery. On the plus side, the light lemon sweetness is not tart at all.

Aftertaste 0

It was average, dry and clean.

Alcohol Content 0 5%

Value 0

It was nice and drinkable but not spectacular.

Ingame Enhancement 0

What is lacks in quality it makes up in quantity. Any litre of beer easily calms the ingame twitching.

Overall 2/10

It was a little weak for a hefe, but that could be good for some people. At least it comes with a cool bottle.
