The nose is sweet like grapefruit with a small bit of pine. There is also a vague floral and candy sweetness. The taste is all hop sweetness like ruby red grapefruit. There is also a pronounced oily slickness with sweet oranges. For all those people who keep scores, it has 60 IBUs.

Aftertaste +1

The creamy, oily, sweet grapefruit vanished fast but lea ves a half version of itself behind. It is very palate cleansing.

This beer defines the style of American IPA. It has it all: sweetness, citrus, pine, cedar and palate cleansing. YUM!
