The brew smells faintly of corn, vinegar, cardboard and a University pub washroom. The first swig (with a Lucky brew you do not sip) serves up a very sweet taste; a lot like apricot juice. Lucky is heavy on the carbonation which tricks you into thinking that this beer has flavour.

Aftertaste -1

As it burns its way down your throat it leaves a sickly sweet coating.

Alcohol Content +1 8%

Hence the name 'Force 8'.

This beer is cheap, a four pack cost $5.50.

This was a zombie movie and cheap beer night. Planet Terror and cheap beer goes together rather well.

Overall 3/10

This was not bad beer actually. I can see why this and its lower potency cousin have a cult following.
